Are You An Optimist?
Did you know that having a positive outlook on life has a long-term effect on your health?
Seeing the glass half full and completely denying what ‘others’ say about your circumstances can help you live longer, survive a disease, feel good, boost your immunity, and find a cure for something that seems incurable.
As a positive psychologist, I’ve spent years studying this very thing.
After watching family members and friends become ill and sometimes lose the battle, I wondered — how can 2 people with the same diagnosis, same resources, and relatively same degree of health, have 2 different outcomes in 6 months – one person fully well and enjoying life — no sign of the illness.
The other, worse off than before?
Scientifically speaking — Individual Differences
This relates to who you are, how you view life, and how you live…along with:

Your outlook on life
How you cope with upsets and challenges
Today’s abundant prosperity declaration reminds us that simply being aware of the Divine Mind within, that which cannot be touched, cannot be seen, but is constantly expressing itself as who we are — this awareness is all that is needed to restore the years pessimism has eaten – making all things new.
I’m loving this High Road of Abundant Prosperity, and as you meditate on today’s principle, review the list below of the differences between optimists and pessimists.
If you have any unfinished business, any pessimistic tendencies (we all have them from time-to-time) this is the day to clear them!
You are POWERFUL and the Divine Power within You does ALL the work.
Simply bringing attention to it without judgement is all that is needed.
Take The Optimism Test
Find out exactly how optimistic you are! The Optimism Test is an online, questionnaire that takes about 2 to 3 minutes to complete. As soon as you click Enter, the results are displayed for you.
The test is free and your results are never shared with a third party.
You will need to enter an email address and create a password to access this test. If you participated in Fast-A-Palooza 2013 (WOOHOO) you can use your same login.
Visit the University of Pennsylvania site and look for the Questionnaires section (it’s blue) in the middle of the page. The Optimism Test is under Engagement Questionnaires.

Today’s Principle | Day 18
My consciousness of the Spirit within me as my unlimited Source is the Divine Power to restore the years the locusts have eaten, to make all things new, to lift me up to the High Road of Abundant Prosperity. This awareness, understanding and knowledge of Spirit appears as every visible form and experience that I could possibly desire.
