Here is the one drink that started it all for me. This Plant-Empowered Goodness officially inducted me into the Crazy Sexy Wellness Revolution.

I know what you might be thinking…is that broccoli…stem???
If your nervous or if your taste buds revolt (this goes for any juice you make), you can always add another apple to sweeten.
Sweeten with stevia drops (no sugar, natural, and won’t raise your blood sugar). They come in several different flavors and are extremely sweet. One drop is enough for several quarts of juice. Use it sparingly.
I use this type of stevia extract because it tastes good and it’s easy to find at my local grocer. Shop around for some in your area…lemon drop is my favorite.
This recipe comes from Crazy Sexy Kitchen, pg. 86
You will need:
1 large cucumber
A fistful of Kale
A fistful of Romaine
2 or 3 stalks of celery**
1 big broccoli stem
1 green apple
1/2 peeled lemon
1. Wash & Prep all ingredients
2. Juice all ingredients

This is the first green drink I made, liked and kept making. It started my whole love of juicing veggies.
Prior to this drink I was a pro at master cleanses (never liked the cayenne taste) and could juice the peels off of any fruit.
But veggie juices just seemed to not taste very well…and I’m too cute to hold my nose and guzzle it – like I do on “made a bad juice” days.

One of the most common questions I get from fellow fasters is how many fruit juices can we have each day…
“Is it ok to drink just apple juice during a fast – I only like fruit juices?”
Include fruit and fruit drinks in your juice plan.
I juice fruit (with lots of kale or cucumber inside) for my family all the time. It’s way healthier than store bought juice and I love that my kids can’t taste the veggies even though they see them going in.
For fasters, I recommend the 80/20 Rule:
80% Veggies 20 % Fruit
Give your body a Bolus Dose of Pure Vitamins & Minerals sans the extra sugar.
You’ll feel more energized and think clearer.
**Sometimes I prefer a milder taste to the celery stalks and use 1 extra cucumber, an extra broccoli stem, and a handful of parsley. Your Morning, Afternoon & Evening will be GLORIOUS with this juice!
