Tony Robbins suggests creating an evidence process so that you know what it looks like once your goal is complete.
Here’s my 4-Step Version of this Method.

Make it sensory specific
What will it feel like, look like and taste like when it happens?
Use all of your senses – socially, who will be there? what will you all be doing?
Physical – how will you look and feel? what will your health be – any exercise practice?
Examine each area of your life and see it exactly how you want it to be.
As Michael Beckwith would say…”Feel it in your bones!”
Live here for a few minutes or longer each day.
See it as if it’s happening right now.
Now get out of your mind and go beyond your senses…
Now that your body knows what it feels like to experience this goal, use mental concentration to go beyond your senses.
Meditation, guided imagery, breathing, even sitting in silence between 4am and 6:00am, are enough to connect to your soul.
A little goals a long way, a lot goes even farther.
Document it as it happens…or else you’ll miss it!
You’ll be working so hard on your goal, that you’ll miss the many great things that are happening. You’ll begin to think you’re not making progress and that can delay your goal…
As you follow each step, you will begin to experience many new insights. You will begin to see parts or your entire goal show up in easy and effortless ways.
Things that were challenging or difficult before become smoothe and work themselves out without your help.
Keep a journal when you realize even subtle hints that your goal or intention is happening.
What you focus on increases, and relaxation is a muscle that must be “worked out” for the full benefits to be available to you.
